CUSTOM PICTURE FRAMER | STUDIO ASSISTANT
A full time position in Beverly, MA
Our company is seeking an experienced Picture Framer to join our team. In this position, you will be performing all aspects of custom framing, working with artwork and documents with significant artistic and historical value. This position will also involve assisting the lead Art Conservators with various aspects of painting and picture frame conservation.
Other related duties are art handling including, lifting and moving artwork of all sizes, some of which are large and heavy; wrapping and transporting artwork and supplies to and from job sites. Most work is performed in our studio but some work is done off-site. Please note that this position is physically demanding at times and that applicants should have the capacity to handle the physical tasks listed above. Applicants should also be willing to travel to and from job sites as necessary.
Applicants should possess exceptionally high quality standards, and an ability to pay close attention to details. Prior experience working in a custom framing business is required. Prior art conservation experience is desirable, but not mandatory. This is a full-time position located at our Beverly, MA location.
